Thank you so much m'dear. And I really need to find that neighbour again and thank her. I was a bit lost on Sunday when this all took place -- to say the least.
But now, I'm so grateful that she took the time to search for me.
Oh thank you m'dear!!! It has been a stressful couple of days, but Markus has been *such* a trooper.
And as for the pet insurance, it's been a godssend this time around. Fingers crossed I won't have any problems with the claim (unlikely with a road traffic accident), I'm looking at a final bill of nearly 4 thousand pounds all in. Without insurance, that's a staggering figure to deal with.
And as for that Lady called Karma, I hope she takes her retribution when she deems the time right ...
Yay for super kitty power!!! I hope he has a successful recovery and is soon loping about again.
As for the hard-hearted, self-centered bastard who hit him and did nothing to see to his well-being, yeah, I hope Karma bites you soundly on the ass. Here's a little Kali to help Karma along!!!
If all goes well, I'll be bringing the boy home Friday morning -- fingers crossed. He's had a few complications but nothing too substantial at the moment.
*fingers crossed* Hope he comes home Friday AM. Poor baby!!!
You're welcome. Having lost a baby to someone speeding down the road and being irresponsible, I have a wicked vengeance streak when it comes to those kinds of asshats. It's even worse when you realize the house I lived in at the time was across the street from a school. o_0
Thank you m'dear! Markus and I were very lucky; as the vet said, if you had to be involved in a road traffic accident, Markus' injuries were on the lighter side.
He's had one complication post-surgery, but the vet seem confident that the issue can be addressed. Which means I can bring my boy home at the end of this week -- fingers crossed.
Thank you. He's had a few complications post-surgery, but nothing too dramatic. If all continues to go well, I may be able to bring him home at the end of the week. Although poor lad -- he's straight into a cat crate for the next six weeks while his leg heals. I've already invested in ear plugs!

As for your experience, I'm so sorry m'dear! And to have it happen across from a school -- double Kali style vengeance wishes.
