It's been a day ...

So. I should be at the 11th Hour Convention right now. However, because of Big Boss deciding he needed me for a conference call that wouldn't end until at least seven tonight, I decided to cut my losses, go home for the night and head up to Birmingham bright and early tomorrow to meet up with bigtitch, loreley-se and our friend from across the Pond, beeej, for the ( Read more... )

I'm so sorry you fall down go boom! Sounds like the company owes you a new phone. And a new shin.

You do realize beeej will get up to absolutely no good with a room all to herself. How does the bail system work in England? You may find out. =)

Zoe Washburn belongs in the pantheon of ass kickers which includes Aeryn Sun, Ripley, Starbuck, and Buffy. Gina is all that and a bag of chips.

Have fun at the con! Give Matt Smith a hug for me!

I am sending beeej safely back your way :D. I made sure she was escorted at all times by my friends here in the UK. Now it's your turn to keep her out of trouble :D.

And yes! Zoe Washburn does belong in that sacred pantheon. And, I suspect Jessica will soon as well.

As for giving Matt Smith a hug -- I think beeej did that for us all!!

Like you, I'm really glad she's been given another strong female character. And let's hope she gets the public acknowledgement she deserves this time!

Ouch for your shinbone and your phone. I hope you don't feel too damaged tomorrow and you have fun at the con.

I haven't seen "Suits" but I always love Gina Torres.

I had a brilliant time at the con, even if I was moving a bit slower than normal and discovering new bruises as the weekend went on ....

And yay for Gina Torres!! If you have the chance to see "Suits", I strongly recommend it. It really is wonderful viewing :)

Hopefully con fun will help you recover from your fall. Hope you're not too badly hurt. I know a few people are there this weekend, so I hope you have an amazing time.

The Suits premiere was amazing. I've always loved Jessica but I'm so pleased that they've increased her role (and Donna's, I adore Donna!). So excited to see what they're going to do this series. Also Harvey really standing up for Mike *chinhands* <3

The Con fun made the weekend fly past once I got there :D. And it *was* a marvellous convention -- Sean has earned his kudos by getting Matt Smith to attend a private (as in non BBC related) convention.

And Matt was utterly glorious. I have nothing but respect for that lad.

And back to Suits -- yay!! I fully agree with your comments about both Donna and Jessica. These two women are so fundamental to the lives of the lads. What is in store for the boys? (And on that note, I need some "Suits" icons"

It sounds like it really was a great weekend. I'm glad you had fun :) I hear nothing but wonderful things about Matt both from 11th Hour attendees and people who went to the official con.

I am so excited to see where this season goes. I'm glad they've not only recognised the potential of Donna and greatly increased her role, but also Harold. I was like crazy in love with that guy considering he had about 3 scenes last series, so I'm so excited he's back and in a bigger role :D My only real worry is what they appear to be doing to Rachel's character, but I hold out hope that it's simply all been taken out of context.
