Brighton, Barrowman, Boys and Boyish Pranks!

Well, here's hoping that after yesterday's trip to Brighton to see Barrowman in concert, my Barrowman Fangirl Badge hasn't been completely revoked! :)

The day began when fairyd123 and loreley_se arrived at my house, following which we headed off to Brighton well before noon in order to spend the day at the beach. And what a glorious day it was! There's nothing wrong ( Read more... )

You're very welcome. A lot of others have posted pictures of John and Daniel, so I tried to focus on what else was going on :D (with a generous serving of JB and DB pics too!) Glad you enjoyed!!

What a show! Leave it to John to go all-out in the entertainment at his shows. Somehow, that's just so him.

Great photography! You really captured some excellent moments. Your b&w photo of John is especially beautiful. And ngh, I'm loving the dancers' outfits for the Scottish medley. Please mom, can I take him home?

It is *so* him. And when he does perform, he doesn't hold back. In the programme there's a lovely quote which reads "I am happiest when I'm performing. It doesn't matter if the audience is large, small or just Scott."

And that's so very true.

And thank you for the lovely words on the photography. My camera is always on my lap, ready to go. Sometimes I capture the shot, sometimes I don't :)

As for the dancer in the kilt, there are many of us who want to take him home! And believe you me -- the man can *move*.

I'm really pleased on JB's behalf that the show has moulded together as well as it has. And he clearly *loved* the Brighton audience (ergo, I think your comment about the splits is quite accurate).

I'll be at the Royal Albert Hall tomorrow as well -- it will be fascinating to see how that compares to the other concerts.

And I quite concur with your comments about the evolution of "I am What I Am". I presume you have tickets already booked? ;)

::grins:: I don't have quite as many at the moment, but I've got a fair number myself :) And working less than 10 minutes away from the theatre means I'll be spending a fair bit on impulse buying myself! Oh JB -- what you do to my bank account. ::sigh::

Thank you! Last year when I did quite a number of concerts due to the flexibility of my schedule at the time, I was fascinated by how the concerts changed just a little bit from venue to venue.

But even last year, Brighton was a bright spot on the concert tour. Well worth making it, if you can (and if he does another concert next year!).

Thanks again!

John's trousers are very shiny.

I agree about the dancers in kilts. Where can one order one of those?

Very shiny. Very. Last year he toned them down with a white shirt (and I don't think they were quite as shiny ...).

As for the dancers in kilts, I am on a mission to track down the website where one can order their services. I shall report back in once the mission has been accomplished. ::heads off::
