I was driving through the dark and early evening last week when I found myself singing along to Dave Matthews: "Crash into me."
And I just started laughing.

When pop songs start making sense, oye vey. But when you find yourself humming along to country music about your lost dog that ran away with your last pack of cigarettes and how you are out of tequilla...well, then you gotta seek some help. :)

Isn't it crazy how culture seeps into your consciousness despite efforts to stave it off?

I just couldn't decide if it was appropriate (it almost fit my mood) or terribly inappropriate ("Crash into me" is not the best theme for driving, eh?) So I just laughed and changed the station.
