I've never tried making it. How easy is it? I'm sure I have a recipe in one of my big American cookbooks, probably the one published by a dairy company that puts a buttload of butter in everything.
Ready made Eggnog in the grocery daairy section is something I miss very much from the USA. I was just back there at the end of November for Thanksgiving, and I drank quite a bit while there! Th best was from a local dairy that sells milk (and eggnog) in old fashioned returnable, refillable heavy duty glass bottles. mmmmmmmmm. (The ready made stuff is non-alcholic, though it generally has some sort or another rum flavouring in it. If you want it alcoholic just you mix it with alchohol of course!
