He's out of his coma!
His eyes are open and he is responding to what the doctor is asking him to do.
They will be taking the tubes out after 24 hours of steroids to reduce the swelling in his throat. At that point, it should be nothing but slow and positive recovery.
I will keep you posted.

Bryan Scott
A good friend, companion, and love of many, Bryan Scott, has been in the hospital for about a week now, having sustained some very serious injuries in a car accident.
