This will be the Borders entry that I've spoken about. I intend to put a lot into this entry as I will detail a lot of good memories I have of the place. Maybe even include some pictures if all goes according to plan

I agree with the sentiment of this post wholeheartedly. Borders was just as much a cornerstone of my social life as it was yours. I like that you used a couple of my pics in this post :) I remember spending sooooooo many nights in that parking lot. So many days too. With the events that took place at the Borders parking lot alone I could chronicle my downfall. I would sit in my cabrio and smoke cigarettes there, I would blaze up in the parking lot. Hell when I was cutting class or skipping work or just had nowhere to go and I was getting high I would park in the borders parking lot a few rows away from the store against the concrete island next to a tree watching the traffic go by and sit there smoking and listening to Howard or reading for hours. Fuck there was so much shit that went down there too within our social circle. Ryan and Tammi stuff. Fucking Brittany too especially that time we had to call an ambulance. Building the shopping cart monuments. Just standing around and talking about life for hours with our keys in our hands

I know man, when I drove past there yesterday and saw that sign on the door, I had to take a picture of it. You mentioned a bunch of things I even forgot. It was a place for everyone. Besides losing an excellent place to shop, which is really all it is. There was so much sentiment to it. Countless nights were spent there and days. Luckily the parking lot remains. If and when you do come home, we'll hit the spot up for old times sake.
My only hope now is that the place finds something new to use in its spot. I'd hate for Borders to just remain as a shell for the next 5 years. A real eye sore off 347.
Helfgott told me to check this and I'm so glad I did. Loved it. Although you neglected to mention the time when you, Vinny, Sean, and I (and I think one other person? may have been Mark or Monique) all met up and traded cars and drove each others cars all over the parking lot. But yeah man good times, I'm gonna miss Borders.
Well like I was saying, there's a lot of ways this post could be. To chronical every memory of the place would take an entire book. Although I do remember that night you're talking about schill! That was an awesome night, that's for sure!
