So long and thanks for all the fish

I woke this morning and realized that I hadn't posted on my LiveJournal account for months. Well, it turns out I hadn't posted in just about a year. In fact, I really haven't posted much here in several years -- which is sad because we used to have such wonderful discussions and debates. But times change and we all move on. For the past few years I ( Read more... )

It's good do see you post here because I've just been rereading your Pros stories and wishing you'd write more but as you say, people move on.

Well, you know I did spend some time at Christmas re-reading some of my favorite Pros stories. So it's still nice to take a walk in the old neighborhood. :-)

I think we've all moved away from LJ, which is sad. I loved this place once upon a time, but I cannot grasp Tumblr, so I guess I'll stay here and post occasionally.

PS I knew you had written Pros fiction. Kari owes me money. :)

It's true. I did it backwards. I wrote my fan fiction after I'd been a professionally been published for several years. I'm not sure what that means (other than Kari shouldn't gamble). :-D

I find it interesting when people complain about the formatting here, because I've never had any trouble. Autoformat can be disabled, if you like. Maybe I get a different posting page ...

It is a shame so many have moved on. I'm guilty of only reading at Live Journal now, and haven't posted for ages. My life's pretty boring - nothing exciting to share. :D

A few years back I started having issues with my blog. It wouldn't let me cut and paste, it wouldn't let me delete drafts...I contacted tech support and they kept telling me there was nothing wrong. So eventually I had to give up.

The technical issues are probably the main reason I quit posting -- it was just too frustrating.

But one reason I held off "officially" leaving was there are so many of you who can only be found here.

Sorry to see you go from lj. Unfortunately, I came in just a bit too late to join in all the early discussions you mention. I do follow you on your blog and enjoy all your writing.

I'm with shooting2kill and siskiou holding out hope for another Pro's story. *g* I understand the moving on bit - but wouldn't it be a grand way to say goodbye - one last Pro's Big Bang story? :-)

Ha! You do not know how many times I have thought the very same thing. And you just never know. I would certainly love to have time enough to write strictly and solely for fun.
