When I saw your tweet about this, I was at work, but did that stop me from raising my arms and letting out a happy YES!? No, no it did not. \o/

They're used to me doing stuff like that. Is that a good thing? I don't know, but I try to keep them entertained... LOL

I have been known to pop into offices, do an impromptu dance, and dash out again ...

Sigh, lovely, really enjoyed that. Drifted off to sleep on the sofa and woke two and a half hours later, reread it, but at 80 pages it only took about half an hour - sorry I read very fast and need three three hundred pagers for a good evening's read. If the book is well written, like yours are, I am not even concious of words on the page, its more like a movie playing in my head. Then I re read Z A Maxfield's 'Drawn Together' which is a clever take on yaoi and has things - Manga Artist protagonist, in common with Blood Red Butterfly. Now raking through my kindle for something else to read while I wait for Harper Fox's next offering, which is coming soon and then I shall have to wait for ages for your's...whatever it might be.

Thank you so much. It's such a change of pace for me, I'm relieved and delighted when readers react like you did. :-)

kind of off topic buuuuut have you ever read any fanfiction for your books? if so, how did you like it? was there a story that you really enjoyed? I'm curious since you talk a lot about fanfics and I have never read/found any for your books.

I did used to glance at the AE fanfiction, but -- while I have no objection to it -- it quickly occurred to me that I did not want to read it (let alone comment on it) in case of possible legal ramifications.

Yeah, I heard that many authors loathe fanfics and some even (tried to) press charges against the writers. that sounds horrible.

Yes, that does sound horrible -- for everyone.
