So, I'm trying to get my LJ back up and running and I need some new friends, as some of my f-list has fallen dormant.

I've also joined a few new communities and thought it might be good to start up a friending meme for everyone! So, I'm hoping to get this posted at a series of different fandoms. Feel free to pass it along as well! :)

What your journal consists of: lots of journal entries, memes, dorkiness, Harry Potter randomness, Glee reviews, Dollhouse reviews, MY ABSOLUTE DISGUST IN TWILIGHT. I DO NOT LIKE TWILIGHT AND I TREAT IT LIKE THE PLAGUE. I have tons of Twilight fans as friends, we just don't talk Twilight. :)
Anything else you may like to add: I refer to Twilight as baD crAcK. Also - glee is amazing fun and fantastic and all the things I love in a show! Breaking out into song about ( ... )

TWILIGHT HATRED FOR THE WIN!

A kid in my college paper wrote an article ripping apart Twilight. But he was male. It would've been so much more epic if the writer was a female.

LOL! So true. The Mormon undertones reek throughout the book, except the book isn't written well enough for it to come across as lucid! I have a TON of girlfriends that are captivated by the books, and I stare at them like they've lost their brains...BECAUSE THEY HAVE!! Edward is a douchebag, AND he's abusive! ?????? WHAT?! Crazies.

It scares me when adults love the books. One of the moms I had to work with over the summer didn't understand why I hated Twilight.

HE REALLY IS OMFG!!!! Its NOT romantic to have a guy watch you as you sleep!

It's not at all. He's a psychopath. There's a better word to describe him, and that is abusive. And seriously? Watching her while she sleeps? wig me out right now why don't you?

I'm sure if I knew more about the religion and read the books in depth (I got maybe half way through the first book), I could understand the Morman undertones. It still confuses me however :/

He is! I remember seeing an article on ohnotheydidnt about that, and it was hilarious when people tried to defend that he wasn't abusive.

I KNOW! I remembered reading through it while responding to you!! LOL! I didn't read the fans comments though, I just saw the original post and I was amazed and in love with the poster :D

Yeah, if you 'lived it' you'd kind of see what's really part of the religion, and how SMeyers pretty much RUINED IT trying to WRITE A BOOK. Have you heard the craziness that was the 4th book? LOL, it's blasphemous even. hahaha! Atrocious ideas.

Dude, even without being religious at all, I thought the 4th book "plot twists" were extremely what-the-fuck-were-you-smoking. :/ Its just ironic that she is mormon out of all the religions (and doesn't she go on and on about how usptanding she is too??)

LOL YES! And thanks! I pride myself in having an amazing and immense icon collection. :D

And yeah, she's all 'upstanding' and I hear there was this whole scene in one of the books that Edward and Bella roll around in her bed, dry rubbing against each other.
