first: this xD Including these were glasscannon's idea; originally, he's just grabbed some plastic from the cafeteria, but come on, this is Tony Stark. Of course he has his own collection of titanium sporks! And, yes, we figure he has a set for each car.

I love reading your comments, I really do. My face always hurts from smiling so much by the time I get done with them :D Hopefully, the next chapter will go a bit fast, tho no promises. I am nothing if not a slow writer :(

For now, it will all be from Pepper's pov, but later on there will a chapter completely following Tony. After that, we'll probably just go back and forth, depending on what each scene calls for. Until then, we'll just have to guess at poor Tony's thoughts along with Pepper ;)

I've shopped at ThinkGeek for my kids, my husband & my brother-in-law (and they probably have things I'd like, too! *grin*) The sporks are so perfect, though! Tony having a set for each car makes perfect sense! I kinda wonder if he might have some crazy face (or hey, the Iron Man helmet!) engraved on them! Have you ever seen VeggieTales' The Lord of the Beans? It has sporks as the evil creatures comparable to the Ring Wraiths from Tolkein's The Lord of the Rings. It's a hoot!

Please, write at whatever pace you work best at! I hope my squee-age never comes across to a writer as any kind of pressure. I just love, love, love this story!

I was thinking about the story earlier today and realized that I should have also told you how much I liked the interaction between Pepper and Ron Torvald. I can only imagine that at some point in the day, Pepper would be desperate to talk to somebody about this mad scheme! It seems very realistic that she'd seriously consider confiding in someone she trusts, especially someone who also has to clean up

I have to apologize in advance for the length of this, because I've been composing it in my head since I started reading. First off, I got like three paragraphs in and started thinking about Tony explaining this ordeal to Rhodey:

“Hey, guess what?”

“What?”

“You’re supposed to guess.”

“You’re going to become a Buddist monk.”

“Pepper and I got married.”

“Funny. Hilarious. You kill me, Tony.”

“No, I’m serious.”

“Best joke you’ve told in a while, actually.”

“Rhodey, Jesus, I’m being serious.”

“Yeah, right.”

“I have pictures. Did you want to see pictures? And I have the license somewhere, too. And look. My ring.”

“Wait, what?”

“My wedding ring.”

“Huh?”

“Wake up, Colonel! Didn’t you go to MIT?”

“What are you talking about?”

“I got married.”

“Married!!”

“To Pepper.”

And OH MY GOD. Sporkful??? “Hungry billionare man glee?? You make my lifeI love that Tony is so into this, so ready to just be Pepper's husband, though I'm not sure either of them is really thinking longevity right now. I'm seeing Tony's mind as something like

Heh, and you got their thoughts pretty right, tho Tony's a little more forward-thinking than Pepper...but just a little. He's completely convinced this is what he wants, like forever, he's just not quite thought through what that means exactly.
