I just wanna say that Farrah Fawcett died today as well. Before Michael Jackson. From real medical issues, not just a possible drug overdose of Demerol.

I guess when you're weird, news carries faster...

Yeah I felt bad for her family that she was so overshadowed by this. Logic says that she struggled for years and her death was expected where as his was sudden and surprising.

What really pisses me off is that the jokes are already starting. There's even at least one joke about both deaths. Please! A little respect? The man was a flake sure, but he has a family that survived him. For their sake, STFU.

I know! In either case, it's tragic for the families and something I'd not want anyone to go through. MJ's poor kids, Farrah's sad family... I got frustrated seeing everyone say how they were bummed about his death, but not hers. Really, anytime someone who has made great acheivements within our society passes away it's sad. I just hope people realize that there have been some truly amazing people who died this year and that it's just a little sadder in the world because of it.
