I finished reading "The Time Traveler's Wife" this past weekend. It was lovely and romantic and sad and fantastic. I might read it over again, just because it was beautiful and I missed stuff. I'm not sure if I'll rent the movie though, I've heard mixed reviews of the movie

There is white and red quinoa so you might want to try them both. (IMO, white is better). It's popular now so you could get it organic and/or in bulk at health food stores instead of the expensive boxes at the regular grocery stores.
Vegetariantimes.com has like 50 quinoa recipes.

Good luck with the flaxseed. I just add it to yogurt a lot... If you stumble on better ways to use it, please post about it.
