Poor Phebe! At least you can work at home. That has to be a relief when she's sick.

Hmmm. I'd like to trade some weather with you, please. It's 66 here right now and I have all my windows open. We had one cold snap right after Thanksgiving that lasted about 3 days and it's been April ever since.

Good luck finishing up your packages! I made my last trip to the p.o. yesterday. OMG, too many people live faaarrrr away... 16 packages this year!

My Phebe is sick? I'm sad. Glad you can work from home. I'm still baking. Pecan sandies and chocolate dipping sauce for my coconut pyramids. I'm loving the snow. Is Mom really our driving in this? Hmmmm.

Yes, mom was actually driving in this. Well, it wasn't like this when she left her house this morning. When we met up so she could give me jim and Shannon's gifts to put in my pkg is when it really started coming down.

The airport closed a little while ago, can you believe it?

Here's a weather cam not far from my home and work:

and the local tv station home page: http://www.kobtv.com/
talking about how everything's shut down, the interstate, etc, I finally made it to the office at 2pm and our office just officially closed at 3pm due to the weather conditions. Maybe the post office won't be crowded tonight? argh
