Just went to joann's on my way to p/u P at school, I'm prob going to have to piece this together from thrift store Ts. No good fabric. but they DO have purple pleather I can use to make boot-tops if I can't find boots that will work.
now to get my workspace ready...

Heh, well, so much for Cleopatra!

I'd go for 3" stripes. Those look pretty wide and that would save you some sewing...and cutting.

For the wings...there are some pretty good tutorials online. I think making them stay up might be the only challenge.

<3 Halloween!

lol, I know. And I even found a pattern for Cleopatra that I already had in my stash that I had picked up at the thrift store. Maybe next year...

Wow, you are so totally right about those stripes. 3" is way better! It would be really nice to find a long sleeve men's tshirt in the right color stripes already, so all I have to do is detach the sleeves and attach them to a pair of bike shorts and voila! Prob not very likely, but a girl can dream, right? ;P

So far all the wing making stuff I have found is for roundish fairy wings. I have had a few ideas pop into my head, but nothing concrete yet. There's the usual wire and pantyhose (in this case white tights), so I may just go with that. AFter I'm back from ALpine I'll hit it in earnest. I may hit the thrift store today however in search of supplies.
