stashgan update

You may (or may not) have noticed that I have not mentioned that stashgan I was working on for hubby. Truth be told, I bound it off this weekend. Unfotuntately, when I laid it out it was only about a yard or so wide by about 10-11 ft long!!! LOL   I sat down on the floor and cried. Hubby tried to make me feel better by offering to use it as a scarf

Wow! That would make one hell of a throw across the back of your sofa ;)

It would at that. Another thought is that since I used sich big needles it's got larger spaces between the stitches, so I'm thinking that after I add the additional side panels I could fold it in half to make a double-thick throw. But actually, the length is really good to throw across the width of the foot of the bed to keep our tootsies toasty. In fact, that's where it is now! It reaches from floor to floor across the entire width of our Q size bed. And it's heavy so it doesn't slip off... I just hope I really did cast on 166 stitches the first time. I'll feel even more silly if I finish the first panel and it's not the same length! lol
