Gosh, hard question...let me try to answer it properly lol! Honestly, I think Hyukjae identifies more with being gay than with being bisexual. He likes women too of course, but he leans more towards men than women (that does happen), and I think he's more concerned with the 'gay' part of himself since that's the part that society/family/etc. give him so much trouble over. Not to mention, Donghae is the one he truly/deeply/madly loves, and Donghae happens to be a boy. So you would see that most of his ruminations revolve around Donghae/being gay/being accepted as a gay man. Does this even make sense?

You have pointed out on the fic that Hyukjae is obviously attracted to women as well, so i can't help to think that by calling Hyukjae "Gay" keeps erasing the part of Hyukjae that likes girls, i mean to a man who has been with other men but still prefers women you won't call him straight, right?
you can be bisexual or pan too... the world isn’t gay or straight with nothing in between.

i am not trying to be rude or anything, I personally love your story and everything you has written so far.
