I completely agree with you. This Meg is so off. Nikki rocked that role. She was just evil and conniving enough. This girl is like an extra. Its obvious that the show has faced some major budget cuts in migrating from WB to CW. First season had JDM, Aycox, Sebastian Spence... the only notable name in the remaining seasons entirely would probably be Paris Hilton and that ain't saying much. (Erm, Lucifer and Zachariah as well, though)
Heh, the Cas thing was funny. The kiss was completely weird. I loved how bamf he went on Crowley's ass. I'll miss Sheppard. He was a good actor. The show sorely lacks those.
Nikki was great in the role. It's funny though because when she was on the show I wasn't a fan, it was only after she had left that I really grew to appreciate her take on the character.
lol... well, I wasn't a fan at the start... but I did appreciate Ms. Aycox. However, seeing how badly they wrote most of their female characters made me appreciate Meg.

It just came out of left field. And I wonder if they're not kicking themselves for getting rid of him so soon. I really thought he'd stick around at least until the end of Season 6. I know someone at work who is going to be way pissed off when he finally catches up on all the episodes, lol.
