well just think about the fact the CMM fiancee was still a senior in high school when they started dating. it's a hollywood thing.

also i finally read the tey/seth stories and um...SOO FREAKIN HOTT!!!!!

On the flip side, that guy from Kick Ass is 19 and his fiancee (and mother of his child) is like 43.

And then there's Ashton and Demi...

I dunno, sometimes age *is* just a number (as long as it's a legal number!) but then again, I'm definitely a cougar. ;)

I've always had issues with age. Anything more than a couple of years either way tends to throw me off.

But yeah, sometimes I guess it is just a number. There's a friend of the family who is 20 years younger than her husband and they've been together for years. Hell, their oldest kid is going to be graduating high school this year, so I guess something is working.

Would it have been legal when she was 16? which is what makes it different than Ashton/Demi & the Kick-Ass guy which I hadn't heard about, but am now all kinds of curious about.

I always think it's weird when the guy has daughter. I also wonder about the parents of a 16 year old dating a 35 year old. Did he go to her prom?

I don't know if it would be legal. I'm Canadian so I have no idea what the laws would be like in California. Apparently it's been common knowledge in Santa Barbara for years, although according to one site I was on, the locals were none too happy about it. I'm just surprised it was kept quiet for so long.

Also, someone else mentioned the prom thing. I have no idea if he went. That would be so weird. She's kind of a hippy so maybe she didn't even go to her prom. She looks a lot like that actress who was in Joy Ride with him and in that Glass House movie. I also find that odd.

Oh well.
