The only thing that bugs me about this situation is that it's a 6 month process to get your pets cleared to move to the UK with you, is all. A pain? Yes. Doable? Also yes. I can't imagine moving anywhere and not taking the Usual Suspects with me, which is exactly why I know the process to move pets to the UK from the US.

I suspect she doesn't have the resources or a place where she can have them over there.
