If I remember correctly, the USA page was the most current for me. Either way, if I were you, I'd start getting all the other stuff done first (Statement of Purpose, transcripts, etc). The application itself will take you all of 30 minutes, so that should be the least of your worries. If you can, schedule the doctor's appointment for mid-October, so that you'll be prepared for any date. Remember not to fork over any extra money for a chest x-ray if it isn't already included in your insurance, as it is a big waste of money. Cosy up to people who will be doing the reference letters and let them know now, so you can get that out of the way.

Really, the release of the application is the least of your concerns. Get everything else done, especially the things that rely on other people.

Last year, they were a bit behind schedule too, and apologized on the website. You won't have a lot of time to get everything done, so start getting your reference letters and transcripts now. That took the most time for me. Remember you need three copies of everything. Good Luck!

When I applied (2006) the stuff wasn't up until September 30th or October 1st.

I can't remember how late it was last year, but it was at or near the end of September before the application came out online. Honestly, that part of the application is probably the part that needs the least amount of time to complete, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you really want to get moving, you can line up some people to write letters for you (if you haven't asked them already) and start working on your statement of purpose (use the guidelines on the website -- if I recall correctly, the application itself doesn't actually say anything else about what needs to go in the SOP). Either way, don't worry, you'll have plenty of time to finish the whole things and submit it on time.

That's the part I'm currently worried about, the statement of purpose ;_; I can't write a 2 page statement, but I am able to write more than 2 pages OTL OTL (so many things to say lol)

I will need some help on that OTL

I understand your pain!

Like the others have said, the application isn't the part to stress over right now--focus your energy on the statement of purpose and finding reliable people to write references for you.

I just wish JET would update the instructions for the statement of purpose and the documents needed for the reference letters. ;_;

Here's hoping they update soon. :D Good luck with your application!
