#84: Mating in Captivity by Esther Perel. 3. The central thesis is that passion and domesticity intersect so badly because you want to feel safe in a long term relationship and that the erotic thrives precisely on not feeling exactly safe. It's not a bad argument, but I didn't find it overall to be all that enlightening.

Yesssss pennyverse. "... I've got minions" is definitely a return to form, and the prequel stuff (a short about Bull and the novel "I did not give that spider superhuman intelligence") are both good. Q and I are both big fans.

I enjoyed Temeraire until Australia, then I felt no urge to keep reading. Other than Lien, I felt like a natural endpoint had been reached.
