Christmas sucks and I'm not doing it next year! Christmas has been called for next year unless I'm pregnant or have a baby. Family is INSANE and I can't do it anymore!! I'm with you. Christmases either contain ticking time bombs or plain misery for me. I will respect others' desire to celebrate, but I'm done with this holiday.

Go to Waikiki Beach in Hawaii. Christmas doesn't happen there. It was the weirdest thing. Everything was open and people just went about their daily business. Oh, but they will charge you an arm and a leg if you want a brunch or something, so it's not like they don't know it is Christmas.

Sorry you had a rough go. I kept joking (sort of) about boycotting the holiday, but I was a little surprised to find that I really did. I didn't even Christmas shop until Monday night. Yep, the Monday after Christmas. . .
