And do you believe a popular British refernce book is a book of authority?

Well, before I referred to the Guinness book, I went looking for Ma Yu Ching's, because I was interested in reading about restaurant that was actually that old. After a google serach, I found few references to such a restaurant, none of them actually listing the actual location besides China (although one said Kaifeng) and a date. One would think that if such a restaurant existed, they would at least have a website to advertise themselves or more information. Then read up on the history of restaurants to discover that Sobrino de Botin is the oldest.
My only reference is Guinness and the fact that the restaurant actually exists, but you have no reference at all to make such a claim. Guinness is usually a reliable source as well. The book is more believable than you ( ... )

As for the restauant reference, read the text in context. The point is if something so trivial could exist so long, why not a religion?

It's a very archaic way of spelling Parsi, like Hindoo for Hindu. No one uses it anymore so it slips out of the language.

My point is that is what you gave me doesn't actual exist. That proves nothing. The fact that you have examples of long lasting organizations doesn't prove that yours is. It still relies on the "why not?" which is not a valid historical argument.

The term "Neo-Paganism" was apparently coined by Tim Zell, editor of The Green Egg, a publication of the Church of All Worlds.
The Church of All Worlds being conceived of course, by Robert A. Heinlein.
