On Clinton, The Wallace 'Interview', & What I Think About All Of It.

Sep 28, 2006 09:57

First things first, the now infamous 'interview' Fox News' Chris Wallace did with Bill Clinton. I use the term 'interview' with all intended snarcasm, because first it's Clinton on Fox News. Second, it's Chris Wallace (R-Tool). Third, he was supposed to be there talking about the environment and global warming, then came the typical Fox News ( Read more... )

*makes sweet sweet love to your brain*

Seriously, that was wonderful. I've got Poli-priapism now. *unf*.

What's even more amusing about this is the FOX news head (forgot what his name is, and in all reality who gives a flying fuck) released some douchebag statement saying that Clinton's "anger was an assault on all journalists."

Well firstly, if that's the case then FOX news emerges unscathed. Ba dum ching.

Secondly, it was an assault? Did Clinton actually assault anybody? Did he throw things? Did he scream and yell?

No, he forcefully answered improper questions that were sprung on him all the while that Wallace gasbag tried to cut him off.

Fucking neocons, they're all the same. Like AMERICAblog pointed out:

"Neocons are bullies. They do their best to try to scare you into not fighting back, but when you finally stand up to them they run crying for mommy."

Cowards, all.

*gets cranially humped*

I'm glad you dug it - I'm nothing if not thorough! I put up a link to a daily show video clip on my most recent post that shows lots of FN journalist wannabes' reactions, it's awesome: The Daily Show on Bill Clinton and Chris Wallace. The interview in 60 seconds and they got it all.

Watching Wallace try to backpedal was PRICELESS, proving my entire point that he knew in that beautiful deer-in-headlights moment that he was naked and exposed, and Clinton was possibly going for the jugular.

And yes, they're all a bunch of bullying gasbags, they have NO real ethical platform so they strongarm politically to get their shit passed by - all wrapped up in whatever language will storm it through with the evangelical base who is, of course, too stupid to realize they're being taken advantage of. If that isn't cowardice, then I don't know what is.

I can't say this hard or loud enough: FUCKING AY, CLINTON! BOOM!
Shit... now *I* wanna suck his dick a little bit... and I've never felt that way before...

SO glad to see him balls out, telling it like it IS, right between that fucker's EYES! What did he think Clinton would do, look down, ashamed that he didn't get Bin Laden? FUCK YOU! Nice attempt at placing the heat on Clinton, ya dickhead. He's got nothing to hide anymore, so of COURSE he was going to tell him right out. Then he responds with this mealy-mouthed bullshit, "well, gee, ya don't have to get so defensive! What are you all defensive about?"

That guy needs a good kicking in.

He was genius, in fact I don't think he was nearly aggressive enough compared to what he could have been, I know if it were me I'd have bitchslapped that motherfucker before I left breaking his nose, spitting in his fucking face, and snarcastically saying "Send me the bill, bitch - I got this."

Yes, he thought that the trickery and playing nice would work, you could tell in his tone and demeanor as soon as Clinton started rebutting that he didn't plan on what was happening. For all Wallace knew, he was brainwashed into thinking Clinton would bow his head and be called on the carpet for something and own some kind of defeat, that or Wallace's producers knew this would happen and just really hate him enough to want to see him a laughingstock around the world.

What else was he going to say after all of that, it was typical "the bully gets his comeuppance" and it is then when you see they ain't so tough!

I'm saving this link, and I'd love to link to this post. This has been coming for some time, and I'm so happy that Clinton finally said it.

Clinton knows the tricks of the trade and as usual prepared himself for what they would most likely try to spring on him. Go Bill and I hope Hilary makes the run because the twofer will be the best bargain this country has known in a long time ( ... )

He's one of the most intelligent leaders we've ever had, which is patently obvious next to Chimpy especially.

I agree that an exec order would have been the best course of action, but given the political climate of the time I really don't think it could've been validated - then again, who knows. It absolutely seems like something all rational thinking people would find agreeable, but that's not who we're talking about.

If Bush gets up and manages to breathe or turn on a light without electrocuting himself, I'm tempted to learn Kaddish.
