In 1987, a group of scifi writers pondered what 2012 might look like twenty five years in the future. It's fascinating to see where they saw it coming and where they didn't. I think Wolfe's, Pohl's and Williamson's predictions rule the best.

I just finished A Game of Thrones Graphic Novel Volume 1 and the last two issues of six went by in a manic blur. I find it got the original book ridiculously well, right on the head, and I am eagerly awaiting the other three volumes in the adaptation.
