I got a surprising amount of random stuff done today. Nothing really super important, maybe, but stuff that mostly needed doing. Magnets on the kitchen cabinets (we'll see if they're enough to stop the cat). Cleaned all the dishes and counters. Mopped the winter off the kitchen floor. Planted stuff. And finally tried that chocolate chantilly recipe ( Read more... )

Not funny any more :) Although the foxglove does produce digitalis, so I'm set for any *heart attacks* that happen around me...

And here I have a plant all ready to go to your house. I'm glad to know it won't be lonely. :D

I guess I should also get you plant ID stakes which may help the ground crew to realize "maybe I shouldn't pull that..."

Ideally, I'd stop trying to grow from seed and just buy pre-sprouted plants like everyone else - then the grounds guys might see spaced out flowers and leave them be. On the other hand, I think they butchered the mint when it was in flower last year, so *shrug*. I did cheat; there are plastic cocktail toothpicks stabbed through a couple empty seed packets, if only to remind *myself* where I planted everything.
