My parents thought the same thing when they saw paths trampled in the berry bushes near their house. Then one day they saw a bear traversing one of those paths... :)

The one thing I truly miss about the area where I grew up is the abundance of berries in the public lands. All summer long we were picking and freezing or canning some kind or another of wild berry. Nom!
