We all loved Carl Sagan and watched his show no matter what every week.

If there was but one, only one, discovery made by an astronomer, astrophysicist or any other scientist that studies space and the universe who was inspired to the profession by Carl Sagan that furthered our understanding of the universe, Dr Sagan's contribution to the field would be incalculable.

And I'm quite certain there's been more than one such discovery made since Sagan just showed us how big we little things are amidst the 'Billions and Billions' swirling away in the infinite.
