Would a Buffy remake be that bad?
After reading delta_mai 's view on whether a Buffy remake would be a good thing, in which she does and would like to see the outcome even without Joss being part of it. I thought long and hard whether our beloved series should be made in to a film, because the first film was just cheesy goodness.
I think it would be a good idea, when I say remake i don't mean to remake the film or even Welcome to the Hellmouth. I would want the Buffy story told in a different way, but keep the amazing factors, like the witty writing and girl power, we grew to love Buffy for. Plus instead of having a girl who looks like SMG to play Buffy, have a actress with the same personally, someone who could deliver the lines and scenes in a way that we would fall in love with Buffy again.
An actress I like for the role would be Lucy Hale from Pretty little liars, she appears to be a nice girl, with a rocky edge, which Buffy was known for.
Also what about Lyndsy Fonseca from CW's Nikita she is beautiful and if you have seen the show you know she kicks ass, and on a weird note she is the girl from Kickass, the girlfriend, Plus she is the daughter in How I Meet your Mother. Which I am sure you all know has our Willow as one of the mains. While googling Lyndsy I came across her IMDB which informed me on Kickass 2 Balls to the wall, something to look forward to.
I know everyone will yell in rage of making a Buffy remake, but think of the differences that could happen and if it is done well it could bring a bunch of new people in to the Buffy world. I will post again the new things that could be added to the remake at a later date.
