So much better today. Turns out that a night of trivia, drinks, and a nice long walk with J was exactly what I needed. I love people who will make the most silly, ridiculous jokes to make me laugh - I really needed that

I you haven't read through the Wicked series already they are fun and would be a great follow-up to The Wizard of Oz.

I read Wicked and it took forever - I don't know if it was the author's writing style or something else, but I just couldn't get into it.

How about Kathy Reichs' Bones series? Some of Laurie Notaro's books are pretty funny. If you liked the Sookie Stackhouse series, you should check out one of Harris's other series, all the titles have "grave" in them - or Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series.
