I know you don't know me, but I felt compelled to respond to this anyway. :D On behalf of pro-lifers everywhere, I am embarassed and repulsed by the idea that Britney Spears (said with monumental distaste) is the ideal mother and someone's idea of what it means to be pro-life. She has proven herself to be an irresponsible parent and she is an idiot to boot. Sheesh! And amen to the comment that she is on a bearskin rug, too. Dear God, what is this world coming to?

Sure, everybody's welcome! I was pretty much amazed too. I have friends and my entire family who are pro-life and I'm sure they'd be disgusted too. Just amazing what people will do. I stick with it being a sign of the apocalypse. ;)

It is an awful sculpture! I can't believe it's actually being shown. I'd place it in the back of a basement and behind a curtain if it was my gallery.

When do you need me to be there tomorrow afternoon to help set up? Let me know and I will be there! And how did the one on Tuesday go?

It's just so gross. Want to show motherhood? Show a REAL woman, 30-something, with a little flesh on her. And frankly, do women really give birth in that position?! It looks more like she's expecting to get rammed from behind in some bad porno flick!

I was actually thinking the same thing! I can almost here the bad 70s porn music. I'd like to see a picture of the back too! I hear it's all anatomically correct.
