I'm so disappointed! I come up an idea that I'm terribly excited about, I post it here and in tortielove and only one person even mentions it. How sad. So no one's interested in giving me feedback? I thought it was a great idea. Was I wrong? I get excited about things sometimes that no one else does and I always wonder why. So here's your chance to

I get like that too. come up with stuff I think is cool, and get abso-fucking-lutely zero reaction from people I thought might be interested. it's terribly frustrating, I agree.

I like the idea, especially because it can benefit precious fuzzy butts - although I don't think it is something I would participate in it. I have trouble with people asking for money from other (unknown) people (on the internet) who get to decide if they or their situation are "deserving" or "worthy." It just rubs me the wrong way. Especially when the two parties don't know anything about one another.

I also find perusing people's journal as a measure of if they are legit or not problematic. I mean, it's just a journal. I am unsure of what you can learn about someone from a journal, and if you do learn something, is that something you can base a decision on?

I don't mean to dis your idea, I really like it, I am probably reacting to some deep-rooted issues with money.

BTW - I adore your new layout, especially the color scheme.

Oh no worries about participating. This is just the early stages and I'm not expecting everyone to jump up and offer to help. If I can get one of two people that would be great but I can go it alone for awhile

"I don't know" is better than silence from my end since silence can be interpreted in so many ways. Thanks for the feedback. It's obviously just a rough idea so if you come up with any ideas to make it better, let me know!

I like your new layout... I finally got a chance to look at it now...

As for the idea, the only problem I can see is getting enough money donated to see it work out... Too many people I know will only donate to things if it is tax deductable, which is not easy to get... Otherwise I think it is a great idea... I have had/seen too many animals get sick and medical bills get outradgeous...

When I first start it might be slow at first but if it grows I might be able to get tax exempt status. People donated over $150 just for Benny so it can be done.
