Go for it then! Your parents will soon realize that your happiness is very important, and if he makes you happy, then they will be happy. If not, then they just don't understand.

I have problems letting go. I can't make my past my past. For some reason I can only keep it in my present. btw, you are so fetchin awsome Jessie!

Aww thanks! I have that problem too, its just something you have to work through. The past is over, and there's nothing you can do about it. I wish there was, but there isn't a rewind button in life (dang it!) But just think about the good things in your life right now, and all the wonderful things coming in the future :-)
