the first thing alejandro and i were going to do together when we got back was visit grampa toad ... i was always sorry that geordie missed gramma babe, when we'd been together a year before she died, so i was not going to make the same mistake, but we were just too late. when i told alejandro, that was the first thing he said (after, 'i'm so sorry') - 'we didn't quite make it in time, did we?'
