Legend of the Seeker Icons/Avatars

I've recently become interested in the show Legend of the Seeker. It is very entertaining to watch, and I love the story it is telling. I now want to read the books it is based off of. Anyway, I couldn't help myself. I've started making artwork for it. I hope you enjoy it even though it is not Supernatural!

I've seen this show advertised on TV, but I guess I wasn't paying close attention because I thought it was a movie. Huh. Beautiful work! I like "Torn Apart."

I thought it was a movie from the ads as well, then I caught bits of it here and there and then managed to sit down and watch it and found it pretty entertaining. It's nowhere near Supernatural standards, but it is a fun show.

I checked out your journal and see that you are Terry Goodkind's nephew. That is very cool! Congrats on having his book get picked up for TV, and I'm sorry Disney has deviated so much from the books. At least the viewing of these episodes makes me want to check out the books, even knowing they will be different. I just can't decide if I want to wait until the TV series is over to read them, or read them now...

And I will definitely be making some wallpapers for Seeker. Wallpapers are my specialty. ;)

I would suggest waiting until the series is over to read them. If you can handle reading them and not being surprised by how different they are...then maybe you could read them now. The books do make the show look like total bubblegum fluff in comparison. LOL

LOL I'll probably wait until after the TV series is over, then. And I've noticed how different the TV show is to the books... I've tried not to spoil myself to the books, but a board discussing the show that I check always has posts comparing to the books, and the REAL way to strip a wizard of his powers is definitely not Disney. :) I understand why they changed that!
