The Romantic Fics Challenge!
Hey, guys! ^^
So, as most of you know, I've always had trouble writing romantic-type stories...I don't know what about them makes them hard for me, but I always feel that writing romance is extremely awkward. Hence, both Oretachi no Kizuna and Hey! Say! JUMP Solves A Mystery are both NOT in the romance genre! XD Since I want to improve as both a fanfic writer and just as a writer in general, I've decided to tackle my fears about romance head on. Starting with the Okajima fic, "Even So...I Love You", I've planned out a series of five romantic one-shots in which all of the HSJ members get paired with somebody else! I'm currently working on the Mystery fanfic, but periodically, I will work on the one-shots as well!
They are:
Okajima - "Even So...I Love You"
Yuto gets Keito and the other JUMP members to play Humans v. Zombies with him. Unbeknown to him, Keito has been harboring feelings for him. What's going to happen when Keito suddenly finds himself on the opposite side from the one he loves?
Chiitaro - Black & White (Version 1 - Angst version)
Ryutaro has always had problems dealing with Shintaro, but at least Chinen is always there to comfort him...What's it going to take for him to realize what his true feelings are for the cute little acrobat?
Chiitaro - Black & White (Version 2 - Fluff version)
Ryutaro and Chinen are like Black & White - Chinen is outgoing, Ryutaro's a little shy, Chinen knows all of the moves, Ryutaro makes a mess out of them. So, why are they together?
Hikanoo - Under the Same Umbrella
A shared umbrella and a shared love...But no way to realize it. When Kei is forced to choose between two of his best friends, did he make the right choice?
Inoobu / Hikanoo / Takabu - Under Different Skies (Sequel to Under the Same Umbrella, Prequel to Center Stage)
When Kota takes Kei out stargazing, all Kota sees is wonderment, while all Kei sees is heartbreak. How is it possible for both of them to be looking up at the same sky, but see completely different things? Has their relationship really come to an end?
Takabu - Center Stage
Takaki Yuya has never been center stage in his life - fate has never destined him to. What's going to happen when he falls for Yabu Kota, a boy whom he's admired and has the ability to grab center stage with ease?
Ariyama - Strawberries and Pocky
When Arioka Daiki notices his friends coupling off, he can't fight off the jealousy that fills him. When he goes to talk about it with his best friend, Yamada Ryosuke, he begins to realize that maybe what he was seeking was right in front of him all along. Whoever thought that strawberries and Pocky would make the perfect combination?
