NaBloPoMo day 28

Nov 28, 2010 10:11

I finally went to see Harry Potter. Why did it take 7 movies to make a pretty good one? Although, I won't lie. Through the camping sections I was kind of thinking... Please Hurry Up. With is exactly how I felt in that part of the book. Anyway, I liked it enough. I think the 2nd half will be MUCH MORE EXCITING. And Bill... well, nothing more on that ( Read more... )

Autotuning is only okay when you can't tell it's autotuned. lol When they start sounding mechanical it really bugs me. Sometimes though, if the song is really good, I tend to ignore it. Like a lot of the songs on Glee. XD

The songs on Big Time Rush are autotuned to the point where I can't enjoy them. I like the show, but not when they sing...which is kind of the point of the show, but still. lol Though I love the theme song. I'll get that stuck in my head a lot.

Aislynn was watching Victorious (i think) and the opening theme song was SO autotuned it sounded like a robot singing. very britney spears. i'm not a fan of it when it sounds like that either! yeah, some glee is way over the top!

i don't think i've ever seen big time rush. what's it about?

I couldn't get into Victorious. *shrug* It tries too hard to me.

Big Time Rush is about four guys from Minnesota or something and they make it big as a recording group. They moved to LA to make it big. lol To me, it's like a wackier, modern version of The Monkees. It's full of silly sound effects and really over-the-top acting.

that was the only episode i've seen. it seemed kind of silly.... she also watched some of that new disney kids dancing and singing show too, but i didn't watch enough to make an opinion!

i've never seen that show, but it sounds like something i'd watch.

Aw, c'mon, Lovey! You don't think #'s 1 & 2 were good? I think they are the best. It was all down hill from there because I don't think those mothertruckers read the damn books! *grrr*

Bill..uh, YEAH! Damn!

i vaguely remember feeling EH about the 1st two movies, feeling disappointed in 3 & from there on i've just hated them. i guess i liked this one best because it covered more of what was actually in the books, although once again, not enough. my sister hasn't read the books & she had NO CLUE what hermione was doing to her parents.

and i HATED what they did to bill. AS IF harry's never met him. AS IF he didn't know about the scars from Greyback. they should have just left the scars out, since you couldn't even see them. stupid.

I loved them! The ickles were precious and did a GREAT job. #3 sucked ass as far as trying to at least stick to the storyline. On top of being a child molester, Dude didn't read the books. I understand that they can't be exactly like the books, but Chris Columbus did the best job as far as that concept (#'s 1&2). I like the movies on a whole because I love the kids.

*giggles* I thought you were speaking about Bill being handsome. He looks better than Fleur to me! HA! But yeah, that was rather messed up. They should realize how devoted we are to the HP world and not do obvious stupid crap like that.

IT SNOWED HERE YESTERDAY (Sat)! EEEEE! xD

I saw HP7 as well and I it's a vast improvement from the disaster that was OotP but till doesn't compare to CS. Chris Colombus is just genius, David Yates should be shot.

I'm still not feeling Christmas (bah humbug), but I'm glad it's around you at least.

i'm not feeling it either, as i get annoyed with the mass commercialism.

*butting in* 'Scuse me! I just had to let you know that I agree with you about Chris Columbus. *nods* #'s 1&2 are the bestest. *g*

I think Alphonso Curan should be shot for destroying POA. That was my favorite book to read. Ugh!

K! Just had to holler that bit. :)

Lol, that's hilarious. After watching PoA about a million times I have less animosity towards Mr. Cuaron but I do recall wanting his head on a spike after I watched the movie the first time. Right now though, David Yates is number 1 on my hit list.

Whenever I think of DH part 1 I think about that shard or mirror that Harry has that technically he never receives. I just don't see why it's so difficult to put the book on screen. JKR in her almighty wisdom already told them what everything should look like and what is important, all they have to do is do it. It's not like they have to make anything up. The books are the ultimate points of reference. I hate when they make stupid mistakes for no real reason. If I have to see Padma Patil wearing Gryffindor robes while Random Extra #3 (who has no lines)wears Ravenclaw robes one more time I might shoot someone.

Okay, that's my rant. Thanks for listening. Nice to meet you. :D
