T-shirt halter top and altered skirt

Last night, I made my second project from Tease: a halter top made from my high school photography club T-shirt. I always liked the image on that tee, but the shirt was long-sleeved, and after high school, it was consigned to the pajama drawer and only rarely saw light.

No, the rouching was really easy. You just have the back split down the middle, then you fold the sides over the inside once and sew them in to make the casings. Then you zigzag stitch them together. Then you thread your string or whatever (I used strips of the cut-off T-shirt material) up one side and down the other, scrunch, and tie.

If that was confusing, take a look at Tease the next time you're at the bookstore. The pattern has diagrams and a better explanation than I could give. :)

That is an unbelievably awesome looking outfit! *applauds* GREAT JOB!!! I agree with the person above who said that the rouching job looks like I pro did it. I'm VERY impressed over here... oh, and BTW - you look freaking amazing!!!! :D
