Like butter

Lee and I both had the day off today, so we ran around town doing fun, exciting, mundane things. I woke up on the sofa this morning; after dinner last night, I stretched out to rest and maybe nap on the couch, and I didn't wake up for twelve hours. One day I will come to America again and we will have tremendous fun. I think your take on life is very similar to my own and though I'd be hard pressed to describe it I think it essentially revolves around battling to see the better in each situation and believing that we're here to get the most out of this odd little life before we 'pop our clogs' and head for the Big Kmart in The Sky.

"Sew and Vac"....one thing I adored about the US was the fact that there are whole shops dedicated to one thing - a Curtain Warehouse, a Hobbies Supermarket...etc...I find it amusing and indulgent and ....bloody brilliant!

I want to build a store that sells only different types of paperclip.

Want to help me run it?!

Alas, those specialty shops are in the minority. Most of America has been eaten out by the supermarche juggernaut of Wal-Mart and the like.

There's a shop in New Orleans that's an office supply/religious goods store. It's awesome.
