What a strange coincidence for you to be there on that day. I have survived several large earthquakes in CA (Coyote, Whittier, Northridge) and it leaves you with that completely unsettled "looking over your shoulder" feeling for several days :( Glad you had a great trip...and a fascinating story to tell, too!
