Concerts, and Movies, and Sunburns, Oh My!

So much! I had a packed 24 hours Friday through Saturday nights.

Casting Crowns' concert was amazing! Different than some other Christian-band's concerts I've been to before: I've been to a lot whose focus was largely on entertainment (Toby Mac and Out of Eden) and others whose focus was on a worship experience (Third Day,  News Boys, Delirious?, ( Read more... )

That sounds like a blast! Way back in college when I was still an on-and-off member of Chi Alpha, I was asked to be a part of a local Christian rock group as their singer. Thankfully for audiences everywhere I turned it down. And I really want to see Wall-E. Between The Incredibles, Cars, and Ratatouille (no idea on that spelling), Pixar can do no wrong by me, and I used to hate animated movies with a passion. And oddly enough, I love going to a Carmike theater, or at least the ones in Great Falls and Helena. They're much more comfy than our small local theater, and they actually have a decent sound system. And our local theater, despite the fact that it gets movies four weeks late, still charges prices similar to the Carmike. It's insane, I tells ya.

But I'm most jealous about Johnny Corino's. I love the one in Bozeman and I don't get there often (maybe once a year). If there was a Johnny Corino's and a Macaroni Grill in town, I'd have died a long time ago from Italian food overdosage. Mmmm... that bread...

I supose it is possible to die of Italian overdosage, but what a pleasant way to go, huh?

So, you were involved with Chi Alpha? On which campus? When-abouts?

U of M Western, from the fall of 2000 to the fall of 2001. I had a bit of a falling out with them, and no longer attend any church - that's a long discussion. Suffice it to say that I now believe in faith and not religion, if that makes any sense.
