It's always fun to see the expression on people's faces when they realize that yes, everything is really handmade. Mike hand-cut the patterns from the cardboard, I scored and folded the sides and lids to make the boxes and covered them all with fabric.

But, they totally take a boatload of time. :P

My mom used to always do handmade stuff for my teachers, and we had different teachers for each subject even in elementary school, so I vividly remember the late nights and mass of supplies spread out everywhere. I'm sure they appreciate all the effort! It's a lovely gesture.
