Yeah I/we had to write a ton of Xmas cards this year. And to lots of relos that I'd never speak to much if at all in life, I guess having 2 kids means to them they think we'll go "family crazy" by wanting to do all the traditional family related crap, like Xmas + bdays (birthday parties are my fav tho, life should be celebrated, being brought into life is GREAT imo, so it's THE best time to do a routine celebration if any) etc. My injured arm is worn out from writing cards to people I didn't care to write to, the only person to send a card to me who I really care for lots was Toni (if you know her?). Apart from her, the other cards could drown in a sea of wee for all I care ;)
