Hehe, I actually figured out how to comment. Amazing what zaps you into a happy mood... I just wanted to say that I think the tank top that you had linked into one of your blurbs on your fabulous knitting accomplishments was really amazing looking. If I were skinny and had decent arms, I might implore you to delve into making it and then giving it to me! :-D Also, those squares immediately reminded me of the afghan (or however you spell that word) that grandma used to have at her house before she died, although yours was in slightly better color taste. It is strange sometimes that it seems like we are turning into mom and grandma in different ways, but I guess it was inevitable considering the impact they have each had on us ( ... )

If I were skinny and had decent arms, I might implore you to delve into making it and then giving it to me!

*g* Gotta get my craft-fu up to speed before I start making actual garments! I'm thinking my first garment will be a shrug, like this, this or even this. Although this would be more my speed. Anyway ... a shrug or capelet might be something I'd actually have a chance of wearing down here. And then I can branch out to others ...

You mean the hexagon flowered things, or is there an afghan I'm forgetting?

Mom has some old yarn from an afghan Aunt Liz started decades ago. It's BLUE and ORANGE. Variegated, no less. Fine if you're making one for a UF student, but ... yikes.
