Planning for a trip to HK, Macau and ShenZhen

I am planning a trip to HK, Macau and Shenzhen in Jan 2010. Any suggestions on where to go, hotels, how to get about from HK to Macau and to ShenZhen... We want a free and easy trip so we are not going on a tour package ( Read more... )

From HK to SZ, you need to take the KCR, which is at tht TST station. So you are right about staying at TST. But for the ferry to Macau is at HK Sheungwan side, that is a little far.

Venetian is a must. I also recommend Holiday Inn Express at Causeway bay. 2-3 stops to TST and yet on HK island side.

Be careful when you go SZ, don't get conned into buying fake goods. Remember to bargain 50% down.
If there are 3-4 of you, I recommend getting the MPV to bring you back to HK from SZ.

so which hotel do you recommend? so there is no ferry to macau in TST?

As for the MPV, so we can only hire when we go bk to HK from SZ.
