Dead End Inspiration Journey

So I want to do a Merlin vid but can't really get myself motivated. I went browsing online for Merlin vids but all it did was hit a a nerve on some of my biggest editing pet peeves, the main one being flappy lips! I cannot explain how much I hate flappy lips in vids. Man, L4D2 is just too crazy fast for me. Give me Dragon Age. Or at least ODST.

Awful Merlin vids have their own appeal, what with the laughter. Good times. Lots of truly great ones out there, though, from the likes of obsessive24(!), wistful_fever, charmax, and others... but I'm guessing you've probably already seen those. Anyway, I vote for the LoM one.

Actually, I was randomly meandering in my vid search so I know I haven't seen all those vidders Merlin vids. I'll check them out, thanks!

Dragon Age, huh? I'm not into the RPG grinders, personally. LFD2 is definitely way too much of a hardcore gamers game for me (damn Valve devs) but if I play it on easy I can barely survive the levels in like 3-5 tries (which is crazy). Without co-op I wouldn't even bother with it.

Sorry for the vagueness with the Merlin recs. Here's a good starting point.

Dragon Age: Origins is only offline single-player, and it's more story-focused than a grinder. But, yeah, it's closer to reading a book than playing WOW or something. Lots of branching conversations and such. I played LFD2 single-player one time and resolved to come back to the game after I've had 17 cups of coffee.
