Looks kind of lonely there!

Yeah, we had to wait for 20 minutes until somebody could come get us the keys to the car. So we were practically the last people there! At least it's only about 15 minutes from there to home. (We need the car tomorrow to go get the kitty and visit Lennart's mother. And also, renting a car for 24 hours is not much more than the taxi ride home would be, so it's kind of an advantage.)

Wow. That's a really empty looking airport.

It's more of a shed than an airport. :) But it's not the main airport...it's a little one that private planes and RyanAir land at. Oddly enough, it's actually better positioned for Göteborg than Landvetter, the main airport, is. That's atypical for RyanAir, isn't it?

Totally atypical. But they go where fees and taxes are lowest so maybe that was it...the shed in a field.
:P
But they have car rentals!

I beg to differ. The distance from that shed you speak of to my house seems to be a little under 20 km, whereas the distance to the main airport seems to be a little over 20 km, but on the motorway most of the way. Also, the bus takes me to Landvetter in 20 minutes, whereas the buses to that shed take at least 40 minutes.

So there you go, shed or no, RyanAir or no, I still say that Landvetter is not a bad location :)
