Wow, I completely missed the Fire Organ, much less it burning. Oh well, Friday was a weird night for me anyway. I did catch some of the monorail burn, at least.

Also, hello again. :)

well, the Fire Organ made a lot of big promises and delivered on, perhaps, none of them. I never saw the fire organ playing fire music. I never saw fire dancers. I never heard the whispering walls whisper.

I did stumble onto the dying flames of the monorail and had a moment of confusion: what was here? I can't remember! But eventually it made sense.

I'm sorry I never got to see any of your gear in action.

I hear you brought some playa to keystricken in Walla Walla! awesome.

Well, the Kalamazoo never really did work. We managed to pump it out for the Burn, but that was a long, hard slog. So you didn't miss much there. =\

I love the telephone story.

If you talk to God again, tell him/her/it I said hello, and thanks. :-)

Huh. This post elicits my very first "I might want to go to Burning Man" response.

Thanks! I seem to have that effect on people.
Sometime soon I'll write about all the ways it was miserable, unpleasant, and/or lame.

Next year I guess I'll rent a tour bus and bring everyone I know?

Thanks for the edit on the snowsuit. Thank GOD. You've written up one of my new life's-favorite memories for me, so I'd hate to leave it with a tiny jangling dissonance like that.

Lorenzo sounded just exactly as you say.
