I'm actually a pretty big fan of the new stonesour album. I wasn't sure if I would be or not, but it's not too bad at all.
Another one to look into is Atreyu - A Deathgrip on Yesterday. Yes, I know what you Neverending Story fans are thinking, and no, as far as I know the band has nothing to do with that fictional character within a fiction. Weird. They look... like big... strong hands... don't they? We are allergic to children :|.
Last recommendation is Lacuna Coil - Karmacode. They have an awesome cover somewhere on this, and about 4 or 5 other songs on the album which are just delicious.
